Accompanied by a respectible entourage of local and national media, Gov. Tim Pawlenty stopped by the KTIS Tent at the Minnesota State Fair to spend some time with the KTIS listeners.
Dave Clutter had a chance to talk with him, and even gave Mr. Pawlenty the opportunity to make any big announcements if he desired.

This week I’m joined by KTIS Station Manager David Fitts in Guatemala. As KTIS prepares for our Days of Compassion event May 14th and 15th, we’re bringing home stories and images of Guatemalan Compassion International kids.

Among the Compassion Projects we visited this week, we were welcomed by Club Los Ninos Del Carpinteto, (Children of the Carpenter), just outside Guatemala City. In fact the kids you see, have just been selected specifically for sponsorship for the upcoming Days of Compassion. More child sponsorship information is available at: http://www.compassion.com/sponsor_a_child/default.htm?referer=ktis-90463
You can also sponsor a child through Compassion International at: 1-877-491-3500. I’m excited to share our Guatemala stories next week, and excited to see God’s hand continue to work through Compassion International, changing the lives of kids all over the world!

Dave Clutter was joined by Brandon Heath just before his concert last Friday.
