I did not have a drive thru flyer, but knew about the day. So, early this morning I was in a Caribou and paid for the lady’s coffee that was going through drive thru. She looked a little confused after being told about her coffee being covered, but I gave her a thumbs up!

Even though she did not know why, it was a great feeling to do it. Keep this going. It really does make a difference.

When I did get to work, I did print out a flyer. The day is early! There is always lunch, dinner, and a DQ for a nightly snack. I am sure I will find plenty of opportunities to use the flyer yet today.

Blessings to all of you

This morning my co-worker came in and said I just went through Mc donalds and someone paid for my order. I listen to KTIS all the time,so I could explain to here what happened. I was as excited as she was. Two more worker came in and she told them . It just warms my heart to hear these things happen.

I just wanted to say “thank you” for providing an opportunity for me to do something nice for someone else.
Not that I don’t do something for someone else on my own, but sometimes I am not sure what to do.
I am going thru a difficult time in my life and I try to look for something to do for someone else, as it
takes the focus off of ME.
So, I left for work early, hoping I could do a pay it forward at Starbucks. Fortunately, there was someone
immediately behind me, as I was worried I would be like the one caller that had to wait and wait.
I paid for their coffee and muffin. The Starbucks clerk asked if it was another drive thru Friday.
I said, it sure is!

So I just got back from Caribou where I wanted to pay for the person behind me … and the person in front of me paid for us. I paid for the two cars behind me. Thanks you whomever you are! We are passing it along!

I stopped at caribou coffee this morning and picked up a cup of coffee. I came in to work around 7 a.m. At 7:20 I left my desk for a few minutes and when I came back there was a gift card with the drive through difference letter attached. Thanks to whoever did that in the work place setting. What a nice surprise.

I stopped at the Medina Caribou Coffee. The server had heard of the drive thru difference and thought it was a great idea as I mentioned I wanted to pay for the car behind me too. I handed her the flyer and paid. I drove off - the light I stopped at to turn is notoriously long. As I waited the car behind me pulled up next to me. The gal rolled her window down to say “What a great way to start the day! Thank you! I did the same thing for the car behind me!” I replied “Thank you and have a blessed day.” She drove off with a huge smile while I was in tears knowing my blessing was exponential.

I have wanted to bless someone with this for weeks, but dismissed it many time because I have stops for food or coffee on my way to work. Hearing about it again today, I prayed for God to give me a creative idea…and He did. I’m a teacher in Lakeville and we have a coffee stop for students and teachers in our school. I went into the high school, printed the flyer, and gave them some money to cover at least 4 people. As I was leaving, another staff member said, “you’re blessing people with coffee!” She went on to say she had the same idea, so now we are on our mission to bless people in our school this way.

I have been waiting to do the “Drive Thru Difference for two months. The first time you did this I was home ill and the second time I ended up in the hospital with kidney stones. Dave, does that bring back some memories??

Any ways, I was driven to do it today. I had my “Drive Thru Difference” card in hand and pulled up to the McDonalds drive thru in Stillwater. I waited and waited and waited. I prayed and prayed, finally someone pulled in back of me. I made my order and pulled ahead to pay. I told the cashier that I wanted to pay for the person behind me. The manager came over to help the cashier check me out. She asked if I knew the person behind me. I told I didn’t. She asked if this was for the KTIS promotion. I told her it was. You could tell that this not only made the day for someone behind me, but the workers doing these transactions like it too. It makes there day to see their customers smile.

I just love this idea, and can’t wait until next time. It was nice to know that I made someone’s day, and hopefully will make someone a little closer to our lord.

My 9 year-old son and I were listening to KTIS in the car while we waited for his bus to come. He heard you talk about this special day. He asked if we could do that so after school we are going to make a difference in somebody’s day.

My 16 year-old is homeschooled and we are going to pay for someone’s coffee or lunch when we are out today!

Thanks for helping make a difference in my family’s life! God bless you and your ministry!

Dear KTIS
I have enjoyed listening to your station for many years now. I own and operate a cheese shop located on our dairy farm in Western WI. My office/work space is attached to my house and as I am mainly the only worker here, I do not have many opportunities to go to drive thrus and make a difference in other peoples lives. As I have been listening to these drive thru Fridays for the last couple of months, I felt like I wanted to get involved with this great witnissing idea…but not sure how I could! So when you had the last one, I got online and printed out the form letter. I crossed out the “stranger in the car ahead of you” and put in the “stranger behind the counter”. As my day continued, and the Lord put it in my heart, I handed several of these to my customers instead of telling them the total of their bill. The customers looked at me like I was a little strange, Once they got over the shock of it, they thought it was a wonderful thing I did. Little did they know it wasn’t something “I” did that mattered but rather what God HAS ALREADY DONE for all of us that really is the MOST WONDERFUL thing any one could ever do! I feel very blessed to be apart of this witnessing project for Gods glory without ever leaving my house.
Keep up the great music, it inspires me several times a day!!!

I stopped at Caribou in Arden Hills today. I rarely stop here (I’m more of a Starbucks kind of girl) but today I did. This very sweet young woman ahead of me told the Barista that she would be buying whatever I wanted. I was stunned. And extremely touched. I ordered my coffee and chatted with the woman. She asked me if I listen to KTIS, and I responded that I do but only occasionally. She mentioned “Drive Thru Difference” and I thanked her again.

I have done things like this on my own from time to time but I’ve never had it done for me. I’m very impressed with the message you are sending to your listeners. I’m having a terrific Friday and this coffee tastes better than it ever has before.

Thank you to the woman who made a difference in my life today- I hope you continue to be a shining example of a wonderful human being!

I decided to leave for work early and swing through the McDonalds quickly before work this morning so that I could make a Drivethru Difference and make today a better day for someone.

Down in Rochester, this program may not be as well known, and the cashier was quite hesitant to let me pay for the person behind me. He was even going to get the manager! It took some convincing and finally he obliged. I asked the total. He told me and said “it is too much?” I handed him the money and asked him to kindly give the flyer to the car behind me. It was raining, so I could not see the person behind me but I trust that their day was better because of it.

Although KTIS does not always come in loud and clear on the radio down in Rochester, I am able to listen online at work and it is refreshing to have uplifting music throughout the day.

I participated in this the first one that you did. However, with the last one I forgot to print up a flyer. And then this morning my daughter was asking about it, and again I had forgot to print up a flyer. So instead, we went to SA and bought a dozen doughnuts for her school staff. One box for the office staff and one box for her third grade teacher and other staff on that floor. Since we didn’t have the flyer, my daughter explained what she was doing. You should have seen the smiles on my daughter’s face. She was so happy blessing other people. And for me, that was so good to see - my daughter being happy to bless someone else!

Now that I am at work, I will be printing another flyer and buying a dozen doughnuts and bringing them to the main office for my co-workers. And then, my daughter wants to go through the drive through to do it again this evening.

This is awesome! :)

This morning I payed for the guy behind me at McDonalds. I have been wanting to do it for a while, but never had a flyer to give. I still didn’t have a flyer - but decided to do it anyway & told the cashier to tell him to have a great Friday. I know it has made my day - it was just a great feeling to know I made someone else’s morning. I figure if he tells any coworkers someone will know about KTIS and tell him! Great Idea!! I will definitely do it again!

HI. I just wanted to share with you - I have always wanted to be part of the Drive-Thru Difference, but I try to avoid fast food. Plus, there usually isn’t anyone behind me on the day I have a few extra dollars. I was determined to do it today, so I went to Burger King and of course, there wasn’t anyone behind me, so, like the lady did for the guy in the blue van this morning, I waited until someone was coming and I jumped in, ordered my food and got to the window and told the lady I wanted to pay for the car behind me and asked her to give them the flier. She had never heard that before. Another lady who worked there saw the flier and said, “Wow - that’s my station!” I told them both to have a blessed day and felt great I was finally able to bless someone! :) I hope it continues at that Burger King (Plymouth)! I then bought a couple extra sandwiches to “share” at my office. I gave them the fliers, too and asked to pass it on with them (I know they weren’t in the drive-thru, but what the heck, right?).

God Bless you for encouraging people to do this! :)

Thank to the mom in the van in front of us at the Lakeville Starbucks this morning! I was just leaving my son’s preschool conferences at Hosanna! and heading back with 3 little ones to meet the rest of our friends at our home daycare. It made my day and we smiled all the way home! The Starbucks barista said “a ton of people are doing this today!”. I said “well, it’s a drive through difference day, so I”ll pay for the car behind me!”

Here’s to a happier MN! Remember, a happy mom is a better mom and a happy dad is a better dad! Pay it forward MN!

It’s addicting! I tend to do the drive-thru difference for another person at least once a week, not always on a Friday. I learned early on that the Maple Grove Starbuck’s cannot hand out the flyer because of food regulations. However, they’ve quickly learned that when I pay for someone behind me, they tell that person it was the KTIS Drive-Thru Difference. As I sit here enjoying my coffee and muffin, I know that the woman behind me is also enjoying hers… blessed by the contagious spirit of KTIS!

Thanks! To the car in front of me in Coon Rapids! I was shocked when the cashier told me about your kindness. On such a lousy day after such a lousy week, your generosity nearly brought me to tears. I know it was only $4, but it’s something you didn’t have to do. In the spirit, I passed it along and paid for the lady behind me. Hopefully the sunshine shows through for more people on such a cloudy day. I haven’t listened to KTIS since I was a child (my father who has since passed away was an avid listener) but when I purchased my last used car it was on KTIS when I went for my first test drive. It was like a sign to me… and now this. I’m so reading into it but it’s probably him looking down and saying hi. Thank you so much again. You have no idea what you’ve started here! God bless…

I decided that today was going to be the day that I participated in the Drive Thru Difference. I went to Caribou, I don’t even drink coffee, but seemed like more fun than McD’s. I didn’t have a flyer, but I told the girl at the window that I wanted to pay for the car behind me. She didn’t blink an eye, just smiled and said great. She closed the window and I would like to think she was telling her co-workers that they had another KTIS listener paying for the next customer, because I heard a cheer go up inside the store. Thanks for the great idea, it seems to be not only cheering up the people in the lines at these places, but the people at work also!

Good Morning Pam and Dave,

I listen every morning and I really like the drive through difference idea. I work from home so a drive in the morning wasn’t something I could do. So after praying about this God gave me other ideas for ways to bless someone else and I wanted to share just a few.

About a month ago I printed off the flyer and made several copies. The girl scout cookies had just arrived and not wanting to be tempted, I attached a flyers to several boxes of the cookies and did the following with them:
gave one to our mail lperson,
one to our trash hauler,
one to the recycle guy,
and then it dawned on me to do more cool stuff with the flyers,
I am a licensed childcare provider so I usually made fresh cookies at 5 am while getting ready for the day. When parents start arriving at 6 am I would have my verson of a mc muffin ready for parents and fresh cookies and give them their choice with a flyer. Several parents said how blessed they felt to have their child in such good care. Several have said they started lisening to KTIS because of what they saw and have enjoyed you both on their way to work…they said it’s more positive than those other guys.
So thaks again for a wonderful idea that in my opinion has taken flight !
Blessings to you all
Sincerely,
Anna

“What if I knew ahead of time that the driver in the car in front of me would be buying me lunch, how would that affect my choices?”

I was profoundly touched by the insight that God provided to me after I blessed someone’s day by buying them lunch a few months ago in the Drive Through Difference. What was pressed upon my heart was the question above and how it compared to my faith relationship with the Lord.

You know God’s word does say that the Lord is comparable to that “generous driver in the the in front of me.” God promises to provide for my needs and desires to bless me as His adopted son or daughter. He desires for me to lay my burdens before Him and petition Him in prayer with all my needs, big and little.

Wow, if I knew that the Lord could always be counted on to give me all that, what freedom I could experience. And if that driver in the car ahead of me was going to pay for lunch, maybe I would have “super-sized” my meal order.

Let my me mindful of the wonderful “menu” of blessings that the Lord has to offer. I’m prepared to order more, aren’t you?

I knew that I wouldn’t get to a drive thru today so I purchased coffee for my coworkers. They couldn’t believe that I was doing it and were really thankful. I told them Happy Drive thru difference day even though it wasn’t in a drive thru. What a difference I feel inside after doing it and one of my coworkers really appreciated the gift on this rainy morning. How cool it is to do God’s Work and see smiles on peoples faces on a Rainy icky day. God Bless.

KTIS is the only station we listen to in our car and house. We love you!! After I dropped my daughter off at school I turned up the radio and heard Pam and Dave talk about Drive-thru difference. I had forgotten that it was today. I rushed home, printed off a flyer and buzzed up to the Caribou here in Champlin. I’m not a Caribou regular but knew it was a good place to go.

On my way up the road I felt the Lord prompting me to stop at Target store first, instead of after my coffee. At first I didn’t want to listen. I needed my coffee! But I did listen. After my Target run I headed up the road and decided to take a different route than usual. It was so amazing. I was sitting at 117th and 169 and the woman who was in the turn lane kicked her car in reverse and pulled behind me. I thought, wouldn’t it be cool if this person was headed to Caribou. Well she followed me and sure enough she pulled in behind me at the Caribou in Champlin. The barista didn’t bat an eye when I gave her the flyer and told her I wanted to pay for the person behind me. I was quite excited to do this as I’ve wanted to do it, but always forgotten the flyer. I’ll be printing them off and putting them in my briefcase to keep with me for when I sense the Lord prompting me.

I just want to get out there and go through another drive-thru and bless someone else. Thank you KTIS for this amazing opportunity to show the Lord’s love in the Twin Cities. It was so cool and wonderful to bless someone in that way.

I left money for the persons coffee behind me in line at the Caribou in my workplace. Since most of us don’t have radios at our desks but, we can listen to radio on our computers, on the flyer I suggested they listen online. When the cashier discreetly offered me the change that was left over, I blessed her too by leaving a tip.

I just wanted to say Thank you so much for the generosity I experienced this morning by someones act of random kindness. I was in Starbucks drive-up lane waiting for my coffee and scones and when i went to pay at the window some lovely person had already paid for me and left me a note to let me know to have a blessed day. I just have to say that where I work we are very short staffed right now due to vacations and illness and everyone is on edge. I came in today feeling very positive and uplifted by the spirit that you carry to your listeners. I will do this for someone in the future. Thank you for the message you send out into the world.

My uncle paid a very elegant pen from the brand Mont Blanc to the custumer behind him. Of course the custumer was Shocked! But my uncle added: God has grace to you. Now you should have grace with others.

The custumer didn’t understand because people from here are very materialist with different “traditions”

Blessing others is great!! I did too a lont time ago, God knows!! the wife’s Pastor loved my nicklace and I gave to her rightaway, in the moment in the minute. She was shocked! very shocked so I explained my point of grace. Now she is happy and she wears it every Special Sunday!!

I was so excited to be able to participate in this Drive Thru Difference day. I have also wanted to but never had the extra $ to do it. I decided I was going to make sure to have some extra money this time.

I just went through the Burger King drive thru in Edina. I noticed the van 2 cars ahead had the Jesus Fish decals on it (one for each member of their family) and just knew they were going to do it. Sure enough, I saw them hand the paper to the cashier at the window. When it came to my turn, I said I wanted to do the same thing for the car behind me.

I asked the cashier if he has had many of these today, he said the other van was his first.

What a joy to be able to do that for someone! I am glad that I am able to share this wonderful station with others as well as God’s love for them.

God bless!

Pay it forward….

Wow! This is my first minute to sit down to write to you. This morning at 6:30 I decided it was the right time to brighten someones gloomy day. I printed off a flyer and headed to my local Starbucks (Eagan) I needed a jolt anyway! I had heard that people have had to wait for people to arrive, and I was hoping that wouldn’t happen to me, I was running behind. Well I had to wait in a line and before I got to order 2 ladies pulled in behind me. I was so HAPPY! When I told the guy what I wanted to do, he seemed like it was very common place, like it had already happened that morning. I drove away feeling so much emotion. I have no idea how I touched the women behind me, but the whole way to work I wondered and thought up different things that could have been happening in their lives today or this week. I was amazed at some of the things that they could have been going through.

My story doesn’t end here. I got to work (early, even though I was running behind) and my co worker (we are teachers) said “Oh, that looks good” I replied the same to her’s with a wink. She then told me the same story from the other perspective. She had walked into Caribou (St. Anthony) and the person before her had already left (walk up) and her coffee was paid in full. So, I then told her about what I had just done and we both cried, what are the chances that both of us would be touched, in opposite ways because of the same “drive through difference, miles apart, and then find out about it through conversation. WOW! The Lord does work in his own way.

I love to listen to you, keep up your great ministry!

@Sandy, that is a great question. Often times, bu the time you get up to the window, the person behind you has already placed their order.

If not, or of no one is behind you, some listeners have just left $5 or $10 to cover a part of it.

Thanks!

Had purchased two books of McDonald’s gift certificates and wondered who I would bless them with. I spotted a man walking back and forth outside in the rain with a sale sign in his hands for the business he was advertising. I called him over and said that he sure was working hard in the cold drizzle and handed him the gift certificates and said, “here, these are for you, go have a warm lunch and God bless you!”. He was very surprised, thanked me and had a WARM smile on his face!

I thought, how impossible it is to out-give God!
This program keeps our hearts warm by giving and paying it forward. Looking forward to the next opportunity to bless another precious soul with a random act of kindness! Thanks for putting this together KTIS! May God continue to bless your ministry!

God is love…pure love!

I wanted to share a quick story, it was not a drive-thru difference day, but on Sunday evening we were out to dinner for my 4-year old daughter’s birthday. She chose to go to the “pie place.” Well after we were seated and looking at our menus, with our four children, an older gentle man came to my husband and said, “I have 7 grandchildren that I do not get to see very often, would you mind if I paid for part of your family’s meal tonight? He then handed my husband a $20 bill. My husband just smiled, and said “thanks.” He didn’t know what to say. We were truly blessed!

I purposely offered to run to get lunch for the office people today at the Shakopee Culvers just so i could do the Drive Thru Difference Day. I was, of course, apprehensive because i’m not well-off financially by any stretch of the imagination. But, in faith, if told the man (who was the manager) that i wanted to pay for the two cars behind me. He said “Is this that radio thing”? I told him it was. I got really lucky because between both orders it costed me less than $10, but both drivers pulled up to thank me and offered me big smiles. It was worth every penny! I feel at least as good as those whose food i bought, if not better. And i can’t wait to do it again.
When i got back to the office, i told the others what i’d done and one lady gave me some money to cover the cost! Everyone was very curious and thought it was a great idea!
Keep up the great work KTIS!

I printed the flyer and planned on going to a local McDonald’s to buy someone elses lunch that day. I was having a difficult day at work that morning and had gotten in a small tiff with my brother who I work with. During my lunch hour I pulled into the drive thru and who would be right behind me…. MY BROTHER! I couldn’t believe it! I prayed, “God- you are really trying to test me right now, aren’t you!” I was secretly thankful that another car slid in between due to the fact it was a two lane drive thru. I did however buy my brothers lunch the next day to help make a mends! Thanks KTIS for the opportunity to make a difference in another person’s day!

I went to a Starbucks in Hopkins and bought my coffee, then told the lady at the window that I wanted to pay for the lady behind me. She preceded to tell me that they lady behind me was already going to pay for the person behind her. She also asked me, with a bewildered look on her face, if I new the person behind me. Early this morning I needed to stop at Cub to pick up treats for my turn on my school’s Friendly Friday (aka Fat Friday)team. I bought and paid for the snacks and then handed the cashier a Drive Through Difference flyer and $5; I asked her to apply it to the grocery bill of whoever showed up next. She was thrilled to participate; she immediately asked me if I had heard a particular drive-through story on KTIS this morning! We had fun anticipating the reaction of the next early morning shopper!! Thanks for the idea!

I have recently started a weight loss plan, and my weekly treat for sticking to the program is a special coffee at Caribou on Friday mornings. I was so excited this morning when a car pulled up behind me in the drive-through. Although I didn’t have a KTIS flyer with me, I paid for their order and asked the cashier to tell them Happy Friday and God Bless! He said, “Sure!”, with a big smile on his face. I feel so blessed to be part of this movement by KTIS, and hope it continues to grow. It will now be a regular part of my Friday morning routine.

I listen all the time to you while driving in my car. I just wanted to say thank you for all you do and I think the the “Drive Thru Difference” is a great idea. I have listened to all the comments that come in and finally today I finally did it. It is truly great that we all can somehow make a difference in peoples’ lives. Though I did not see a reaction of the car behind me, I still feel great knowing that I did this. Just the feeling of knowing that I can continue to do something like this and knowing that the recipient of this will somehow be enlightened whether they were having a good day or not.

I am in graduate school, and the economy [rising costs for food and gas] have pushed my finances to breaking point. Today while I was driving to class I was worrying about money, and wondering how I am going to get through until the end of the semester. I went to McDonald’s to get three $1.00 chicken sandwiches. I pulled up to the payment window and was told the person in front of me had paid for my meal and told the window cashier to tell me to have a blessed day. I have been praying the last few weeks for some sort of encouragement of sign that my finances will hold until I can start working again. I was frozen with goose bumps when I heard the person in front of me had paid. I told a friend about my experience and she told me to come to your site and record my experience. THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Thansk!

Well today I was listening to 98.5 KTIS(a Christian music station) on the radio and they were having one of those Drive thru difference days, a day when you download a note online and you pay for the car behind you the drive thru and ask the person at the window to hand them the note! I was so excited that I ran downstairs and asked my mom if we could participate and she said “no”. I was so disappointed I went back up to my room and listened to people call in and talk about how someone had blessed thru Drive Thru Difference! Later we went to go to get pizza for lunch and before we even left the neighborhood my mom said “okay go download one of those notes” and so we went to a drive thru and we paid for the guy in the car behind us he look so grateful as he gave us a big wave to us out the window! As we left the drive thru my whole family was bursting with joy at being able to bless someone that we don’t even know!

Okay, I have been wanting to do this for a long time so I called my husband at work this morning and said, when you come home for lunch I am taking you to McDonald’s (in St. Croix Falls, WI) and we are doing the Drive Thru Difference. We both were excited. We are in line and no cars! AH, then there one was. He ordered. We got up to pay and the cashier was very confused. We explained it and she was like… Okay, I have never heard of this, but she did it. Well, we had to wait for his food. The woman behind us pulled next to us and said…hey fellow KTIS listeners… that is what I was going to do for the car behind me. We laughed and blessed each other and departed. Later, my friend is in the hospital in labor, and I called her and said asked if they wanted anything. Yup strawberry shakes from McDonalds. Off I went and I was going to do it AGAIN!! HA HA!! The same lady was working with another and as the window closed I could hear here say… Oh yea watch out this has been happening and it is like a domino effect and will continue for like five cars… I just giggled!!!

As a long time listener, I’ve been thrilled to hear about the Drive Thru Difference and have been waiting for the chance to make this a part of my day. During my lunch break I decided to make a Burger King run, and was praying someone would pull up behind me. They did, and I ordered, pulled up to the window to pay and told the guy I was going to pay for the man behind me. He looked at me and smiled…didn’t say much, so I asked him if he’d had other people do this today. He said about 4 others already had! Awesome. I just love it! The guy asked me if we were just doing this randomly, I said yes it was ‘random,’ but told him about KTIS and how we want to make a difference in someone’s day…he seemed to soak it all up and when I got my change, he said “have a nice day!” to me with such gusto I’m pretty sure it made HIS day, too!
I watched the car behind me pull up as I drove away, and saw the utterly confused look on the man’s face. It made me smile, knowing I’d be just as startled if it had happened to me. I pray he’s blessed a little today by this ministry…I know I am!

I had tickets for a fun community performance this evening. Unfortunately, I am unable to use the tickets, soooooooooo … I attached them to a KTIS flyer and they will be left at the box office! Thanks for reminding us to think of blessing others.

I was listening to KTIS as I was driving my daughter to school this morning having a great time listening to all the Random Acts of Kindness. I decided to drive thru McStop McDonalds to get coffee and water and was thinking I had just spent more than I should have…drove up to pay and the employee said “It’s all taken care of”, I looked at her and said KTIS, right? She nodded yes. Needless to say I was shocked, I never had given it a thought that this deed would be done for me! What a nice way to make someone feel special. Thank you to that gray car and KTIS!

Well, to start with I’m not a listener, but I just took my three children to McDonalds in New Richmond, Wi and the car in front of me paid for our order? The girl working handed me a letter and I said this must be a mistake? I have never heard of this before!
I think this is just wonderful and I will be returning the favor to someone else. Thank you very much who ever you were!

I was excited to participate in today’s “Drive Thru Difference.” At Starbucks in Andover, the young man at the window thought it was neat that I was another one doing the thing related to that radio station. He had a huge smile on his face. Then, at Walmart, I paid for the family’s items behind me. The woman, nor the cashier, could believe it, but the woman said thank you and that she would definitely pass it on! When we think we are blessing others, GOD BLESSES US!!!

alright so i work at subway in monticello and i am 16 years old. I was taking somebodys order through the drive through and she asked me to toast her sub so I said yes please hold on a seconed and she said ok. While I was waiting I heard talking through my headset and the lady behind this girl told her that she didi not have to pay for her sub because she was going to because it was drivethrough friday. Of course listening to this station and hearing these stories i got really excited that i got to experience on of the things it was great. So i was like all excited and freaking out and the people i work with are all like what and i had to explain it to them except for one girl she knew what i was talking about and she was excited to. That was like the best thing EVER!!!!!! That makes working there all the better

I am confused. I would like to participate in the drive through, and I found a calendar on line, but it does not designate the dates, like outstanding color or something like that. Or do you have to wait for an announcement on radio?

On Friday I went to the EP Starbucks drive through with my flyer to bless someone.

I am out of work right now and have been living on my savings for many months, desperately trying to find a job. I was down to my last month’s savings this month and getting pretty scared about how I would make my next house payment. With the recession, jobs in my field had pretty much dried up. I’d been on so many interviews but never received the offer. I thought maybe it was due to my being older now, 58 yrs old, and companies wanted younger employees.

But I really wanted to bless someone because I wanted to give someone else a good day!

A guy in an Audi pulled in behind me and I was excited to buy his coffee.
But after about 30 seconds he became impatient and got out of the drive through line. I thought it was too bad that his impatience made him miss out on a free coffee.
Another man pulled in behind me, so I bought his 2 coffees. Fortunately they weren’t too expensive since I didn’t have a lot of money. But I drove away feeling happy with tears in my eyes knowing I had made a good difference in someone’s life that day.

At home about 2 hrs later I received a phone call that a company I’d interviewed with last week was making me a job offer! It was like a miracle happened! My own life was blessed beyond belief just hours after I blessed someone else!

I cried with joy and prayed a BIG thank you to God for caring about me. I have to admit to having been low on faith many times during my unemployment but I always kept praying. And now I REALLY BELIEVE

I was truly blessed this morning as I arrived at the Espresso Cabin in Grantsburg Wisconsin for my morning coffee. Although I didn’t see the car in front of me or know who left me the note, it is obvious they are, like myself a regular KTIS listener. It really made my morning. Even in small town like Grantsburg some 70+ miles from KTIS, blessings are being handed out. Although I was blessed by the moment the real measure of the gift was that it reminded me that we need to show God’s love through all that we do. And we must do so every day. Whether it is buying someones meal, coffee or helping in some other way, we truly are the hands and feet of Jesus. Thanks unknown friend and KTIS for this experience.

This is the second time my daughter and I have participated in the Drive thru Difference. I had a strong feeling on thursday that we would be treating the police officer we have seen so many times as we passed Caribou. Friday came and a few miles before we reached Caribou there was a police officer behind me. I told my daughter he was going to follow us into Caribou-sure enough! The kind lady serving us at the drive thru asked us if this was the drive thru difference and I replied “yes”! She had told me the police officer had been treated before by someone else! I believe this was no coincidence! He actually is the officer at my daughter’s school, so as I was dropping her off he pulled up next to us, held up the paper and mouthed the words Thank you and smiled! Blessings to the officer and to you KTIS! We look forward to doing this again next month!

Thank you to whoever bought my coffee at Caribou. May God bless you back richly. You started my day in such a positive way and I was able to witness about the goodness of God to many that morning. I asked the drive thru person if he knew if KTIS was the reason someone payed for it and he replied that he has been seeing this a lot lately with and without a KTIS flyer. Thank you KTIS for affecting people who may not know their Savior yet. What a blessing this was.

I finally was able to participate in the Drive-Through Difference this past Friday afternoon.
I headed to the Taco Bell in Elk River and said, “Ok Lord, please let someone pull in behind me!” Sure enough, a lady pulled in behind me and I paid for her meal. The clerk that I handed the note to laughed like he’d never heard of someone doing that, but he thanked me.
As I drove away, I had tears streaming down my face…not because I granted some big boon of buying a stranger lunch, but because I could really feel Jesus just filling my heart with joy and it spilled out into tears.
Thank you so much for starting this!

Hi,

I don’t even listen to KTIS, but I will now. I was in the drive through at MacDonalds in Shoreview and when I went to pay the cashier, she said that the woman in the white car ahead of me, had paid for my meal.
I was so excited I could hardly wait to get back to work to tell everyone and I e-mailed darn near everyone I know. Made me feel great.
Today I intend to return the favor.
Great idea. Reach out and touch someone with a little brotherly love. This is the sort of thing that makes this world a kinder, gentler place to live in.
