Whether you made it to the festival or not, you probably know that it was a fun time (despite all the rain on Saturday!). And whether you were there or not, we hope you’ll enjoy this photo recap of the weekend! Also, be sure to leave us a comment below and tell us what you thought of the weekend (favorite artist? fun memory? did you stay dry?). Special thanks to our fabulous photographer, Chris Gardner!

even the rain did not stop some of us on listening to some of the greatest song artist. I thought it was awesome that the rain help up for Mark Schultz and when we finished it started raining hard. Mark is my favorite artist and I prayed all day to have the rain stop atleast for Mark and it did. God is AWESOME. Thanks KTIS for a wonderful year at Higher Ground and can’t wait till next year.
Another great year for this growing festival. Friday was fantastic on all levels. Saturday was very wet, but with only two schedule changes and all the big names still performing … it was still incredible. All the hearty fans who stayed through Mark Schultz’s performance, know it was worth it. After his set, Mark hopped off the front of the stage, dished out hugs and high-fives to the die-hard fans. What a blessing to witness Mark’s love for God and his fellow Christians. Thanks to everyone who made Higher Ground happen this year!
Higher Ground was amazing this year! Friday had perfect weather and the bands were amazing! I even got invited on stage with Building 429 for a dance off! Saturday was great despite the rain and the cold. Even though there was a few schedule changes, everthing worked out. Mark Shultz’s concert was awesome! I can’t wait for next year! Thanks for the pictures, KTIS!
This was our first year to Higher Ground and it was a wonderful experience!
The artists gave a wonderful performances. The childrens inflatable play area, the “Mega Mall” full of information and things to purchase, lets not forget the delicious food!!!!!! All of this could have shut down due to the rain and everything kept going as much as possible (in spite of the rain).
Our God is awesome as well as all the people connected to Higher Ground for not giving up just because of the weather!!
My family and I will be back because of that determination and witnessing to praise God (even under not so perfect conditions)
Thank you KTIS!!!!
Higher Ground was fantastic again this year! Go Fish was AWESOME! Our kids absolutely loved them and the energy they give. Friday was perfect weather. Even though Saturday was wet, we needed it and the show went on! Everyone was so great. What a testimony to go on even in the cold and rain. Mark Schultz is one of our most favorite artists and once again he praised the roof off that stage. He is so genuine and I can’t help but shed tears everytime I hear his stories through his music. His song writing is phenominal! Thank you KTIS for a great weekend!
This was my first year to Higher Groung and it was Awesome even despite the rain. It was great to see so many people praising our God and especially the younger people. I even put my name in to volunteer for next year. Winsted is my home town and it was great to see them hosting something so Wonderful. Thanks KTIS for your awesome work. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
We, my family and I, had the most fabulous time @ Higher Ground. Our children were in charge of decorating our campsite, what a great activity for all of us to participate in! (Good Job Jay and KayLee) Third Day was awesome….nothing beats live music, NOTHING. Saturday was a little more than we could handle with all the rain so we bought ponchos and trudged on and on or so it seemed. We were wet and cold and decided that we were going to head home.
Now at home: DRY AND WARM LISTENING TO THIRD DAY:)
SEE YA NEXT YEAR, THE ANDERSONS
What another great year at Higher Ground~~even the rain couldn’t bring some of us down. Friday was awesome and the weather was perfect. And then Saturday, the sky’s finally opened in answer to many prayers, so those who stayed were praising God for His mighty works - rain being one of them. :o) I think this festival is a great way to enjoy great entertainment with the whole family because there is something for everyone. Who wouldn’t enjoy music from Go Fish or Denver and the Mile High Orchestra and then to top it off with Third Day and Mark Schultz, wow, it was a blast! Thank you to all of the people who make Higher Ground what it is. It’s a lot of work to pull of a festival like this, but the reward is in all of the happy faces of kids and adults while you are out there. Praise God for another great year!!
This was our first outdoor music fest. We very much enjoyed the music and the weekend(in spite of the rain). We were pleasantly surprised by the band Decemberadio. We had never heard of them. They rock with the best of the rock bands but with Christian lyrics. Why haven’t we heard or at least heard of them. No mention of them on KTIS or on the schedule at Higher Ground. Were they a last minute addition? Anyway, Please play their songs on KTIS.
Thanks
